How to get to Ghent
By Air
Ghent is close to three international airports. From each airport there are bus and train services to Ghent. Most regular airline services are offered via Brussels International Airport.
- Brussels International Airport (Zaventem)
- Antwerp International Airport (e.g. from London City)
- Charleroi Brussels South International Airport
By Train
Most of you will arrive either at Brussels Airport or at Bussels South train station via the Eurostar or Thalys. You can check train schedules at http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/ - Click on National and use "Brussels Airport" or "Brussels south" as departing station, and "Gent Sint Pieters" as the destination.
When arriving at Brussels Airport, just go to the lowest level (-1) since the railway station is below street level. You can buy your ticket to Ghent ("Gent") at the desk.
